Nora Gross is a multi-disciplinary artist specializing in watercolour. Her naturalistic paintings seek to capture the light and vitality of a moment in time, arresting waves and birds in flight, flowers and smiles at their most beautiful. Nora studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and across the country with many internationally recognized watercolour artists. Nora illustrated the book "Louisa's Diary" for the Nova Scotia Museum in 1989, which has been incorporated into textbooks in the province. She has also been commissioned to do interpretative paintings, including the Balsam Hollows Trail in Green Gables Park, Prince Edward Island. Currently, Nora is in demand as a watercolour instructor and a demonstrator for manufacturers of watercolour supplies, as well as being an elected member and Atlantic Regional Director of CSPWC (Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour). Read an article on her here. Nora’s paintings are in many private and corporate collections in North America and in Europe.
